How we look after your business's and your clients' data, explained clearly and without small print.

Your business data belongs to you

Your calendar, your clients and your history belong to your business. Islagenda stores and processes them only to provide the service: we do not sell them, use them for advertising or pass them on to third parties.

  • You can ask for a copy of your data at any time
  • Only your team sees your client profiles
  • We never contact your clients on our own

Data processing agreement

When you use Islagenda, your business is the controller of its clients' data and Islagenda acts as the processor, as required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

That is why, when you sign up, we sign a data processing agreement setting out what we use the data for, how we protect it and what happens to it when the service ends.

Automatic backups

We back up your data automatically. If something goes wrong, your calendar is restored without you having to do anything.

Secure access to the app

The app and your website always run over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Each team member logs in with their own account, so everyone sees their own work and you know who made each change.

  • One login per team member, no shared passwords
  • If someone leaves the team, their access is removed in a moment

Reminders with consent

Your clients receive reminders because they agree to them when booking. Islagenda records the date of that consent and the version of the text they accepted, so you can prove it if you are ever asked.

Any client can stop receiving them whenever they like.

If you cancel

There is no minimum term. If you cancel, you can ask for a copy of your data before you leave. After that, we delete it gradually within 30 days.

Your domain.Islagenda pays for the domain while the subscription is up to date. If the business cancels, it can take the domain with it and pay the renewal itself. If it does not ask for it, the domain expires.

Privacy on this website

When you request a demo, we use your name, your business and your contact details only to arrange that demo and reply to you. We do not send you advertising or share your data.

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its use. Islagenda's company details and contact email are in the Legal notice.
